Trophy Club was Texas's first master-planned community, built in the 1970s around the only golf course Ben Hogan ever designed - the town is even named for the trophy collection the club was meant to display. It has grown into a tight-knit, family town where golf carts are a normal way to get to the park or dinner, and where families come for the Northwest ISD schools and Byron Nelson High and tend to stay.
The homes were built in three waves - the 1980s, 1990s, and 2000s - so a drive through town runs from modest traditional brick ranches on quiet streets to bigger stone customs with the turret windows and sharp pointed roofs Trophy Club is known for, on out to the newer custom neighborhoods like The Highlands. Many sit on golf-course fairway lots or back to greenbelts, with mature trees and pools. That spread of eras is what makes the painting here interesting.
With the town effectively built out, a lot of what is happening now is renovation - owners modernizing the classic golf-course homes in the older sections to match the newer ones. That is a good share of our work: lightening a dated interior, updating or whitening brick, refinishing a tired kitchen, and repainting an exterior that has taken twenty or thirty years of Texas sun, so an established home reads as current as the customs down the street.
The work changes with the house. The brick ranches want breathable finishes and a clean trim color; the stone and Mediterranean customs want careful stucco and trim work; and all of it has to clear an HOA, since Trophy Club's subdivisions each review exterior color. We match the approach to what your home is built from, handle the approval step with you, and plan for the sun on the golf-course-facing and west walls that fades a finish first.
From an original brick ranch to a stone custom on a fairway lot, we handle the whole home. Here is what that covers.
Walls, trim, and ceilings, most often lightening the dated 1990s and 2000s builder and old-world colors to something current and warmer. We use low-odor products, keep the house livable around your family, and handle the two-story foyers and great rooms these homes are full of.
The full exterior, prepped for the Texas sun, on brick ranches and the bigger stone and stucco customs alike. We wash, prep, and repaint the body, trim, fascia, soffits, and doors, and we lighten or whiten dated brick with breathable finishes when that is the update you are after.
The masonry that defines these homes. Breathable finishes or limewash on brick, careful work around stone, and crack repair and texture matching on stucco and the synthetic EIFS systems some of the customs carry, with the foundation honestly flagged when a crack points that way.
Kitchen cabinets, vanities, and built-ins sprayed to a smooth, hard finish that holds up to a busy household. Refinishing dated oak or builder cabinets is the fastest way to bring an established Trophy Club kitchen current without a full remodel.
Whether it is one room or a whole-home refresh, we keep the job organized, clean, and predictable from the first walkthrough to the last.
We walk the home with you, look at the materials and condition, help with color, and flag your HOA's approval process for exterior work. You get a clear written estimate with no guesswork and no surprise line items.
Prep is where the finish is won. We wash, scrape, sand, caulk, and prime what needs it, repair drywall and stucco, and cover your floors, furniture, landscaping, and pool area before any paint goes on.
The same crew runs your job start to finish, low-odor inside and careful outside, so the home stays livable while we work. We keep the site clean and clean up at the end of every day.
We walk it with you at the end, touch up anything that needs it, and do not call it done until you are happy with how it looks up close.
We are a Fort Worth company, based off Cordova Avenue, and we work Trophy Club and the surrounding northeast communities often. We know these homes - the brick ranches and stone customs across The Highlands, Hogan's Glen, the Knoll, and Trophy Club Estates - the renovation wave bringing the older golf-course homes current, and the HOA color rules that come with a master-planned town.
You get careful work, clean job sites, color expertise, and an honest read on what your home needs. We keep the same crew on your job from the first walkthrough to the last, and we are easy to reach the whole way through.
We paint throughout Trophy Club and the surrounding towns.
The Highlands, Hogan's Glen, the Knoll, Trophy Club Estates, Eagles Ridge, and the rest of Trophy Club.
Westlake, Southlake, Keller, Roanoke, and the rest of Fort Worth and DFW. In Trophy Club or nearby? Just ask.
Interior and exterior painting, brick and limewash, stone and stucco work, cabinet refinishing, wood staining, and drywall repair - across all three eras of Trophy Club homes, from the brick ranches to the newer stone customs. We treat the whole home as one finished look.
Yes, and a lot of our work in Trophy Club is exactly that. As the town has built out, owners are bringing the older golf-course homes up to the standard of the newer neighborhoods - lightening dated interiors, updating brick, refinishing kitchens, and repainting tired exteriors. We help an established home read as current as the customs nearby.
Yes. Trophy Club's subdivisions each review exterior color, so submitting your colors before painting matters. We flag your HOA's process during the estimate, help you choose a palette that fits the rules, and bring samples so you can see the colors on your own home.
Yes, and it is one of the most popular updates on the older homes here. We lighten or whiten dated brick with breathable finishes or limewash rather than heavy paint that seals the surface, which modernizes a 1980s or 1990s exterior more than almost anything else.
Yes. We work around stone, and we repair and texture-match stucco and the synthetic EIFS systems some of the customs carry before any color goes on. If a crack pattern points to foundation movement or moisture behind an EIFS system, we will tell you honestly rather than just patch over it.
It depends on the material and the sun. Brick goes a long time, while stucco, wood, and trim need attention sooner, and golf-course-facing and west-facing walls fade first. Many of the older homes here are due for a repaint now, and we will tell you honestly what your home needs rather than putting it on a timer.
